Experience

Concerts, festivals and major events

Trips where the reason for the dates is something happening in town.

Event weekends move rates and minimum stays across a whole metro or valley, not just the blocks nearest the venue. If the event is the point of the trip, book early and treat the published minimum stay as firm; if it is not, the weekends either side are usually quieter for the same weather.

Dates move every year, so we do not republish them. Each destination's event page links the official calendars — Experience Scottsdale and the City of Scottsdale in Arizona, Discover Kalispell, Explore Whitefish and the Bigfork chamber in Montana — and those are the pages to trust.

Road closures and parking restrictions are the usual surprise. Check the city or town's own page for the weekend you are actually here.
